What is Kadence AI?
Kadence AI, also called Kadence Workplace AI, is Kadence’s digital assistant for hybrid work. At launch in September 2024, it booked workspace on request and gave real-time insight into teammates’ office plans. Employees asked for what they needed, and it handled the booking inside tools such as Microsoft Teams and Slack.
In a hybrid workplace, coordination and collaboration can be hard. Coordinating with teammates, finding and booking the right space and aligning schedules should be simple, but often are not. These tasks take time and leave less headspace for actual work. Kadence Workplace AI was built to take them on.
Why did Kadence build a workplace AI assistant?
Kadence built Kadence AI because routine coordination was taking time away from real work. Hybrid workplace AI is about more than convenience. By automating routine tasks, it lets teams focus on innovation and collaboration. At launch in September 2024, Kadence AI fit into existing workflows with no setup and started working immediately.
What could Kadence AI do at launch?
In September 2024, Kadence AI worked like a personal assistant for workspace needs. It had three core features.
1. Book desks and meeting rooms instantly
Employees could ask Kadence to reserve a desk or a meeting room, and it was done in seconds.
2. Coordinate team movements
Employees could find out when teammates were in the office, which made spontaneous collaboration easier.
3. Integrate and manage bookings
Kadence AI worked within existing tools like Microsoft Teams and Slack, so people could manage bookings without leaving their workflow.
How did Kadence AI handle privacy and security?
At launch, Kadence stated that customer data was never used to train AI models. Kadence followed strict data protection protocols to keep information confidential and secure. Opting out was also straightforward for teams that decided the AI features did not fit their needs.
What were the benefits for hybrid teams?
