We’ve expanded our bulk CSV upload capabilities to support not just creation, but full-scale editing and continuous management of your workplace setup. Global and Building Admins can efficiently update spaces, neighborhoods, and related settings, including assigning users, managing amenities, adjusting capacities, and applying booking rules, all from a single upload.

This enhancement is built for enterprise organizations managing dynamic environments at scale. It removes the need for repetitive UI tasks or support involvement, enabling faster onboarding and more agile operations across your footprint.

Simplify Extended Bookings with Multi-Day Bookings

Managing extended or overnight work schedules just became seamless. With Multi-Day Booking Support, users can reserve desks, rooms, or other resources across multiple days in a single booking. Admins maintain full control over availability by building or resource.

This eliminates the need for multiple daily bookings, especially for shift-based work. Users can set an end date during booking, and everything is reflected accurately across calendars, schedules, analytics, and exports.

Flexible Team Creation with Custom Directory Attribute Mapping

Kadence now supports custom attribute mapping for directory sync, giving organizations more flexibility in managing teams and user profiles. Admins can automatically create teams using combinations of attributes like department and location, enrich profiles with additional data, and manage team visibility as needed.

This solves a common challenge for large organizations where group-based mapping does not reflect real-world structures. Admins can define rules that match their internal logic and rely on automation to handle the rest.

Setup is supported by updated documentation to simplify configuration and keep directory data in sync.

Precision Booking with Deep Linking Enhancements

Kadence booking links are now more powerful and accurate. Admins can add floorId, spaceId, and type parameters to link directly to specific desks, rooms, floors, or other resource types.

Previously, links only supported basic location and time. Now, you can enable:

  • QR codes on desks or rooms that open pre-filled booking pages
  • Internal shortcuts to commonly used spaces or resource types

These upgrades improve user experience and support better signage and navigation.

Fairer Space Access with Global Booking Duration Controls

Global Admins can now set maximum booking durations for each resource type, such as desks, rooms, or parking, within Global Settings. This helps prevent extended reservations that limit access for others.

As multi-day bookings become available, this control reduces the risk of misuse, such as reserving multiple days with a single credit. Admins can apply global rules while still allowing local overrides for specific needs.

These limits apply across all booking flows and APIs for consistent enforcement.

Tailored Booking Defaults for Every Space Type

Admins now have full control over default booking durations per resource type. Choose between an Automatic option based on user working hours or a Custom setting with fixed time inputs.

Previously, defaults were locked by resource type and lacked flexibility. Now, Admins can define realistic starting points, like full-day desk use or shorter pod sessions, to match real usage patterns.

Users can still adjust durations manually within any constraints set by admins.
