Additional Space Types
Lockers, pods, and parking spaces have now been added as bookable space types to the Kadence platform. All of these new space types can be configured in all the same ways you could with desks in the past. Create a neighborhood of lockers, repeat a booking for a parking spot, and set maximum booking durations for private pods are some of the things you’re now able to do. The scale of autonomy you now have with space management is endless enabling users to manage their spaces in all of the ways they want to.
*Available on the Kadence web app
Booking Credits
You can now restrict access to spaces that are in high demand to enable fair, and equal bookings across your organization. By implementing a transactional credit system users can only make bookings for these high-demand spaces when they have enough credits remaining to do so.
*Available on the Kadence web app
Portuguese
Add the ability for users to select Portuguese as their language within Kadence.
Starred Colleagues – Request to follow (iOS)
Gives users the ability to ‘Request to Follow’ colleagues on mobile and mirrors the functionality that was added on iOS.
Show Room bookings on the homepage dashboard
On the Homepage Dashboard, only organizers see their room bookings. This improvement will also list room bookings on the Homepage for attendees/participants.
Assigned Desk Settings
Adding a tooltip to the ‘Allow access on the following days’ label to provide more information on how assigned users work so users can make more informed decisions when configuring access.
Add an empty state to the ‘Who’s in’ modal
On the Homepage Dashboard, when the user clicks on the office activity chart, a modal is displayed to show users ‘who is in’ during the week. When no one is in we need to display an empty state.
Reorder the ‘Starred Colleagues’ setting options (Allow, Request, Disable)
Reorder the setting options for ‘Starred Colleagues’ so that they appear in the following order:
- Disable
- Allow users to accept/ignore star requests
- Allow anyone to star anyone
Assign desks without automatically making bookings
Allow desks to be restricted to one or more individuals without having perpetual bookings made.
Adjust the scale on ‘Team office use trends’
Within Kadence Insights, the “Team office use trends” graph is fixed to show 100% on the Y axis. This change makes the height of the Y-axis dynamic based on the content that is being displayed (rounded to the nearest 25%). e.g. the trend line hits a maximum of 40% – the Y-axis will be set at 50%.
Allow users to add hyperlinks to announcements
An upgrade to our newly released Workplace Announcement feature now enables users to add hyper links for anything they like.
Allow users to collapse neighborhoods
Give users the ability to collapse and expand all neighbourhoods on a floor plan.
