LONDON, 23 July 2018: IT technology leader to help accelerate scale, adoption and growth of Kadence’s innovative power platform in the U.S. and Latin America

NEW YORK, July 23, 2018: Today, Kadence announced that Ingram Micro Inc., the leading global cloud lifecycle provider, is the first distribution partner to offer Kadence’s smart wireless charging solution to its solution providers in the U.S. and Latin America. Kadence has entered into this agreement with Ingram Micro to help accelerate the growth of scaled wireless power as well as the adoption of Kadence’s platform in this key market.

Kadence is a cloud-based wireless charging solution for enterprises, allowing the deployment of smart SaaS technology at mass scale and with enterprise-grade security. The term ‘smart’ hints at this key differentiating feature: Kadence provides a centrally-run platform for clients to manage, monitor and monetize the service, creating enhanced customer experiences as well as new revenue streams. The Kadence platform has been deployed with some of the world’s largest brands, including WeWork, Amazon, Pret a Manger, and Grand Hyatt, among others.

There are significant value-add opportunities for Ingram Micro to take this technology solution to its customers across a multitude of industries and verticals, including hospitality, stadia, enterprise, smart office, and higher education. National, Regional and Local Solution Providers, Value Added Resellers (VARs) and Managed Service Providers are the ideal conduit for the deployment and delivery of mass scale wireless power technology, and it is available now for channel partners to add to their existing portfolios.

“Ingram Micro channel partners are constantly looking for innovative wireless technology solutions that meet the needs of the rapidly changing technology environment,” said Kevin Prewett, director, ProAV and Digital Signage, Ingram Micro. “The need for smart wireless charging solutions continues to grow and we are pleased to welcome Kadence and its cloud-based charging solution to our growing portfolio.”

Managed service providers such as Las Vegas-based Business Continuity Technologies have signed up to deploy Kadence across its client list, including deploying it with Casino and Entertainment brands, which have a strong presence in the market. Recently, Kadence deployed its smart wireless technology in a major global hotel brand in Vegas and the brand saw a 64% increase in sales during charging time!

“As one of the longest-standing managed service providers in the Las Vegas area, we’ve helped our clients adopt the latest technologies necessary to grow their businesses for 34 years,” said Lester Keizer, CEO of Business Continuity Technologies. “What’s so unique and valuable about Kadence is its smart platform. The Kadence offer moved from CIOs to customer-centric departments like marketing and sales. Kadence not only provides a very-needed and innovative wireless power solution, but it also gives businesses insights into customer behavior, creating new loyalty initiatives and revenue opportunities.”

Kadence CEO and Co-Founder Dan Bladen said: “Power is where every journey begins. Whether you’re an employee, a customer, a fan, a traveler, securing access to power is an essential need. Enterprises are in a position to support mass deployment and adoption of this soon-to-be ubiquitous service.  Wireless charging is table stakes for keeping customers and employees satisfied. That’s why our focus is in working with global technology and supply chain service providers, such as Ingram Micro, to expedite and realize the full potential of the wireless world.”
